Geoenvironmental Engineer sought at a growing and reputable Medium-sized Geo-Environmental Consultancy. This exciting opportunity is based out of their Northampton office.

Overview
Our client specialise in ground related risk management and building fabric investigation. Their wide range of services include expert consultancy on geotechnical and geo-environmental projects, support with soil waste management and building fabric matters.
They are looking for a driven Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their Ground investigation team in Northampton. The role will be both office and field based – roughly 50/50. You will be required to travel to sites across the country as necessary and be able to attend their offices. Vehicles for travel are provided by the company.
The Ground Investigation teams are multidisciplinary, covering factual reporting, contaminated land risk assessments and geotechnical appraisal, so a good basis in these topics as well as experience in managing people and demonstratable leadership skills is essential.
As an engineer, you will be joining an experienced team where Continued Professional Development, training, and mentoring are integral to their work. As well as training others, they actively encourage CPD, and you will be supported to work towards relevant charterships or accreditations to support your areas of interest and specialities as they develop.
Responsibilities

Deliver high quality ground investigations, providing innovative and sustainable solutions to all aspects of geoenvironmental and geotechnical consultancy

Responsible for projects from inception through to report delivery and aftercare

Liaising with clients, project managers, regulators and the broader project team
Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant industry background

A relevant degree

An understanding of land contamination risk assessment

Strong communication skills

Practical problem-solving skills

Enjoy physical work

Reliable, team player with proactive and positive attitude

Full driving licence
