As the Lead Geo-Environmental Project Engineer, joining their friendly and supportive team in Warwick, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering a diverse range of geo-environmental projects. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians, overseeing project execution from inception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of technical quality, safety, and client satisfaction, while reporting into the Principal Engineer.
Key Responsibilities

Lead geo-environmental projects, including site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation design.

Provide technical expertise in contaminated land assessment, geotechnical engineering, and environmental impact assessments.

Oversee the preparation of technical reports, project proposals, and environmental statements.

Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate environmental and geotechnical conditions.

Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, contributing to business development efforts.

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in geo-environmental engineering.
Requirements

A degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering or a related field.

A minimum of 5-7 years in geo-environmental engineering, with a proven track record of managing projects.

Strong technical knowledge in contaminated land assessment, geotechnical investigations, and environmental risk management.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in using relevant software

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, regulators, and team members.

A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
